Intense and excessive worrying about a situation that may occur ahead is what we define Anxiety as. And this causes sweating, restlessness, fast breathing, lack of concentration, and in some cases insomnia.

One of the leading sources of stress and anxiety these days in the workplace. Working under strict seniors and supervisors, chances of demotion and the fear of getting laid off are the few of those hundreds of reasons why people are suffering from a mental disorder like anxiety these days.

At present day, there is an existing system for the workforce in each and every organization in which you are forced to stick. And this is the reason why most of the people working for such organizations are not able to manage their work, personal and social life equally. And the cause of this is neither they are able to give their best to the organization nor they have physical or mental wellness.

Now coming upon how to manage Anxiety at the workplace. There are a few methods that may seem helpful in managing mental wellness to some extent:

  • Don’t over-commit or take projects if you don’t have extra time, just be realistic.
  • Taking breaks during work hours can be beneficial too.
  • If you are feeling overwhelmed, ask for help. You may return the favor later without being judged.
  • Communication is a vital key to mental wellness. Communicating can help a lot.

Now for us, not everyone suffers from mental illness, not everyone around is anxious or stressed out. Thus, it’s our hereby duty that if we are in a state of mental peace and mentally stable then we should help people around us who are going through a bad phase in their life.
