As you progress through this course I encourage you to go out and shoot footage whether it be on a professional camera or after your smart phone bring that back into DaVinci Resolve and test out your editing skills. Wayne Sables
Wayne SablesFilmmaker | Projection Mapper | Teacher
Wayne Sables trained in contemporary dance before moving in to film and digital technologies. He has worked extensively across the USA, Europe and the UK as a dance and digital specialist. Wayne is a Clore intensive alumni and an associate artist at Cast in Doncaster where he creates his trademark digital installations combining dance, film and projection mapping. Wayne has created and curated works for Tour de Yorkshire, Hull City of Culture, National CAT Scheme and numerous museums, arts organisations and councils. He created the first interactive dance film with ManMade Youth Dance company and Autin Dance Theatre in 2019 which has gained national attention, as well as pioneering multiple interactive digital art works and light installations. He is incredibly passionate about engaging communities in high quality arts experiences and empowering audiences. He is a creative leader and regularly works with collaborators and partners to develop strategic engagement projects across the UK.
